Elsie Thomas: studied ceramics in the late 60s early 70s at Burnley School of Art, led by Harold Thornton , Stoke College of Art with tutors including Derek Emms and Goeffry Whiting.
Taught at Bradford College of Art and exhibited throughout the UK. Elsie is currently working from a studio in the Forest of Dean, Nuthatch Pottery at Rosemary Cottage. Work includes thrown utility ware and decorative pieces; stoneware fired using traditional clays and high fired glazes.
Visits to the studio welcome by by appointment only.
